In this tour, we will explore the two most renowned destinations in Tanzania - Central Serengeti (1 night) and Ngorongoro Crater (1 night). The tour commences and concludes in Arusha. With our seasoned driver guides, this promises to be a journey of a lifetime!
Your safari kicks off at 8 AM with a pick-up from your Moshi or Arusha hotel. Setting off towards Serengeti National Park, the 240 km journey unfolds over approximately 6 hours. As you traverse the landscape, the vastness of the Serengeti unfolds before you, its endless plains stretching to meet the horizon. This iconic park, spanning 14,763 sq km, is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including the celebrated "Big 5" – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard.
The Serengeti ecosystem hosts an abundance of plains game, with the central Seronera area standing out as a wildlife haven. Here, the Seronera River sustains diverse species, drawing a concentration of wildlife. Look out for prides of lions and iconic granite outcrops known as "Kopjes," which provide shelter for various flora and fauna.
During your day-long game drive, a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness adds to the adventure. As the day concludes, indulge in a hearty dinner and retire to your accommodation for a restful night.
Following breakfast, embark on a morning game drive within Serengeti National Park. Later, journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch en route. The Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel, boasts a vast floor dotted with watering holes and teeming with wildlife. Surrounded by extinct volcanoes, it harbors around 30,000 animals.
After a day of exploration, savor a fulfilling dinner at your accommodation, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's adventures.
Start your final safari day with an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater floor around 6:30 AM. This geological wonder, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, offers a 5-hour game drive filled with captivating wildlife encounters. Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of African elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions.
After a picnic lunch by the scenic Hippo pool, begin the steep ascent from the crater floor. With a 4-hour drive back to Arusha or Moshi, you'll arrive by 6:00 PM, bidding farewell to your safari team. Depart with cherished memories and a profound safari experience to treasure.
