This 5-day/4-night program offers a comprehensive game driving experience, covering Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti National Park stands as a global wildlife treasure, where you'll have the chance to witness lions at rest, elusive leopards on the prowl, and elegant antelopes roaming the plains. Moreover, Serengeti is celebrated for its annual Great Migration, during which over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras traverse its vast landscapes. Beginning and ending in Arusha or Moshi, this safari promises an unforgettable adventure into the heart of Tanzania's wildlife wonders.
We'll meet you at your lodge in Arusha at the agreed time and head to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its large elephant population and iconic Baobab trees, the park is dominated by the Tarangire River, a vital water source for its diverse wildlife. During our visit, you can expect to encounter lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with over 400 recorded species. A packed lunch will be provided inside the park, and you'll dine and spend the night within its bounds.
Today, we'll explore Tarangire National Park further before heading to Karatu in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning, we depart from Karatu to visit the famed Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. Descending into the crater, you'll embark on a thrilling game drive, encountering a wide array of wildlife in its natural habitat. The crater boasts an impressive ecosystem and is home to species like lions, hyenas, jackals, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and various bird species, including flamingos. After lunch at the crater floor, we continue our journey to the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Arriving in the central Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife, you'll spend the night in one of the accommodations.
Today offers a full day of game driving in the central Serengeti, known for its abundant lion prides and iconic granite outcrops called "Kopjes." These natural formations provide shelter to a diverse range of flora and fauna. After an exhilarating day, we'll overnight in one of the accommodations in the Seronera area.
Our private safari concludes today. After breakfast, we'll embark on a game drive en route back to Arusha or Moshi, where you'll arrive by the end of the day.
